Starting Thursday, January  23 from 7 pm to 9 pm at the James Park Elementary Annex, this 6-class course will guide you through the basics of learning how to speak in public, effectively and confidently in a fun and relaxed environment.

The course will be led by a volunteer from Toastmasters who will teach you tips & tricks for an effective self-introduction, impromptu speaking, and how to deliver a prepared speech.

About the Effective Speaking Program

• The program will provide an opportunity for Air Cadets to increase their self confidence, ability to reason, organize and express ideas.

• You will learn leadership, teamwork, self-discipline, self confidence and good citizenship.

• You will improve your interviewing skills, presentation skills and improvisation skills.
