Learn an instrument and join our marching band! We hold weekly training sessions and cadets get to demonstrate their progress to the squadron by preforming every training night at opening and closing parade.
No prior musical experience is required.

Learn to cross country ski with our Biathlon program! Cadets on the biathlon team meet weekly to train. At the start of January a Biathlon completion is held at the whistler Olympic park for cadets to compete amongst others.

The Cadet Drill team specializes in display marching. Members work together to perform marching routines and participate in a intra squadron completion at the end of the year.

The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award is a global program that challenges, empowers, and recognizes young people between the ages of 14 and 24. By recognizing the amazing things young people can do and learn outside the boundaries of formal education, the Award empowers them to discover hidden talents, develop untapped leadership potential and make a difference in their community.
The Award is delivered by adults who work with young people and is used to enhance existing programming. It offers an experiential learning framework that supports the work done to build young people’s skills and develop the confidence they need to take their future in stride.

The effective speaking program teaches cadets how to effectively convey their thoughts and arguments.
At the end of the year, participants are invited to an effective speaking competition where they can compete amongst their peers and other Cadet squadrons .

Every want to learn first aid? We offer Emergency and Standard First aid training!
Cadets participating in this program work towards their Emergency or Standard first aid certificate with St. John Ambulance.

Thinking of getting your pilot’s license in the future? Our ground school program prepares prospective cadets for the national power and glider pilot scholarship courses offered in the summer where cadets earn a private or glider pilot license upon graduation.

Range offers cadets a chance to test their marksmanship skills. With weekly training, cadets get a chance to learn about range safety and etiquette, and finally best marksmanship practices.
