Cadet Fitness Assessment (CFA)
This night we will be holding our annual fitness assessment. We ask cadets dress appropriately for the weather in civilian attire. You will be participating in team sports, and physical (gym) training, dress appropriately and bring a water bottle.

Spring FTX
An instructional and practical field training exercise will be conducted for all Level cadets to enhance their survival skills in the field. This is an outdoor adventure training weekend. Lots of practical skills and teamwork.
Kit Lists and Permission Slip is attached on Team or get it on Wednesday.
Cadets must be drop-off on Friday, 2 May 2025 @ 1630 hrs at Royal Canadian Legion (2675 Shaughnessy Street, Port Coquitlam). The bus will leave at 1700 hrs from there. On Sunday, 4 May 2025 @ 1600 hrs parent are to pick-up cadets at the same location.

21st Annual Ceremonial Review (ACR)
777 Neptune RCACS will be holding its 21st Annual Ceremonial Review on Sunday, June 8, 2025 at the Port Coquitlam Recreation Centre.
Cadets will need to arrive by 8:30 am to Arena 2 for parade practice. Cadets will wear appropriate civilian attire and will need to bring:
entire C1 ceremonial uniform on a hanger (wedge, shirt, tie, tunic, trousers, belt, wool socks, and boots) to change into for the parade
water bottle
snacks
Cadets with long hair should have it done properly before arriving in the morning.
Lunch will be provided by the squadron.
Guests are asked to be seated for 12:30 pm for the parade to start at 1:00 pm. Reception to follow. Cadets are to assist with clean up prior to dismissal at 4:00 pm.

Awards Presentation
All Cadets:
We will be presenting badges for all levels, marksmanship and fitness assessment qualification on this Wednesday. You must be present to receive it. Hopefully, we will have a video clip presentation of the ACR Parade for all of you. Then, cakes and some treats will be available and bring your own water bottle.
Summer FTX
The Squadron is organizing this (FTX) field training exercise as part of the mandatory support training. An instructional and practical survival/leadership exercise will be conducted, and cadets will have an opportunity to undertake leadership and survival skills in the field. This exercise is an outdoor adventure training weekend.

Level 3 & 4 Training Day
The level professional development is designed to enhance the regular Wednesday training. It will be covering 2 mandatory training opportunities; EO # MX.08 and MX.09 that are squadron drill commands, uniform deportment and instructional lesson planning. All level 3 and 4 cadets are expected to sign-up and attend this training day.
Dress: Come in full uniform for inspection and then change to civilian attires after
Items to bring: Notes book, pen or pencil, water bottle and boot polishing kits.
**If you are a new cadet without uniform, make sure you come in white shirt, black trouser and shoe for inspection and then change to civilian attires after. The acceleration cadets will have to write an assessment test. **

Remembrance Day Parade
The details for the Remembrance Day is as follows:
Date: Monday, November 11, 2024
Time: 0900 hrs (parade will step off around 1000 hrs)
Meeting place: Donald Street (Behind the Gathering Place building, access via McAllister Ave
What to wear: No. 1 Ceremonial Dress for all cadets that have uniforms. For cadets that haven’t yet received uniforms, the following is recommended:
White long sleeve top (button up preferred)
Black pants
Black shoes
Remember: no logos, no hoodies, no jeans, no rips, no holes.
Weather: It is expected to rain, so please bring parkas and gloves if you prefer. Dress warmly (recommend long underwear underneath uniform).
Outline:
1000 hrs – Parade assembly begins
1010 hrs – Parade procession begins from The Outlet
1045 hrs – Ceremony begins at the Cenotaph
Approx 1130 hrs - Ceremony ends, and parade will march down to the Port Coquitlam Legion
Approx 1145 hrs - Cadets will be dismissed from the Port Coquitlam Legion

The parade starts from Donald Street and will end at the Port Coquitlam Legion, for any parents staying, I would recommend parking at the Port Coquitlam Legion and walking to the meeting point
Marksmanship Tryout
We will be starting up the air rifle marksmanship team. This team is open to all cadets, with practices on select Sundays. If you are interested, please be at the clubhouse. Dress is appropriate civilian attire and bring a water bottle.
Parents are to park their vehicles at the parking lot.
