Snowshoeing Event

This event is OPEN to ALL cadets.

Bus will be provided. Cadets will need to arrive at the Port Coquitlam Legion (2675 Shaughnessy Street) no later than 0745 hrs for the bus. Bus will return for 1730 hrs

Lunch will be provided at the cafeteria at Mt Seymour.

Cadets must dress warmly and appropriate for subzero temperatures. We will be hiking in the snow:

  • Toque

  • Long/thermal undergarments

  • Sweater / Overshirt

  • Winter jacket

  • Snow pants

  • Winter gloves

  • Wool socks and winter boots

Cadets should bring a water bottle and a snack. Cadets should anticipate having to carry personal belongings for the day. It is recommended to carry items in a small backpack. Lockers are available at Mt Seymour (see their website for more info).
