This parade is Mandatory for ALL cadets to attend.

Drop off: Port Coquitlam Community Centre, 2150 Wilson Ave @ 0945 hrs

The following are the approximate event timings:

• 1030 hrs - Cadets will form up and march down to City Hall

• 1055 hrs -1145 hrs - Cadets will arrive with the parade at the Cenotaph for the ceremony

• 1150 hrs - Ceremony ends. Cadets form up and march to the Port Coquitlam Legion

• 1200 hrs - Cadets are dismissed at the Port Coquitlam Legion (2675 Shaughnessy Street)

Dress: C1A - full uniform with medals. If you do not have a uniform, you will wear a white dress shirt and black pants.

Parking: It is highly recommended to allot extra time to find parking, as there are a limited number of spots at the Port Coquitlam Community Centre.

There is parking available at Port Coquitlam Station and at the Port Coquitlam Legion (2675 Shaughnessy Street). Since the parade ends at the Legion, it is advisable to park at the Legion and walk to the community centre.

Personal Belongings / Instrument Cases: As there is no designated location to store personal belongings, cadets should avoid bringing personal belongings. For band cadets, It is recommended that cadets set up their instruments prior to arriving (i.e. leaving the case in their parents’ vehicle). The squadron will not be responsible for lost or stolen belongings.

Lunch (optional): Lunch will be offered at the Port Coquitlam Heritage building (1100 - 2253 McAllister Avenue) by the Legion. Cadets may choose to go, if they plan on going after the parade ends.
